Andrew Ilnicki is Director of Strategic Technology for VCU School of the Arts, and has an MFA in Visual Communication from VCU in the Department of Graphic Design. Ilnicki works across departments to foster effective practices and new uses for academic technology and facilitate changes in education for students and faculty about issues related to the future of art and design education, technology, and interdisciplinarity. Ilnicki has taught graduate and undergraduate courses for the daVinci Center for Product Innovation, and the Departments of Graphic Design and Kinetic Imaging. With the VCUarts Creative Entrepreneurship office, Ilnicki coordinates a new interdisciplinary internship program called CoLab (short for Collaboratory) that focuses on the intersections between Art, Healthcare, and Technology.
