Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Join a Birds of a Feather session facilitated by Old Dominion University and Virginia Tech for a round table discussion on what you are doing at your institution to support women in IT, including mentoring programs. We welcome all women, and potential allies, to join us! Several of us have recently attended Educause and Women Advance IT conferences and can share some great ideas and resources! Some topic for discussion include:
- Why is mentoring important? A look at some data and a sneak peek at Harvard's model.
- How mentoring can support women in IT.
- How mentoring can support professional development and career advancement.
Next steps: Discussion of interest in submitting a request to create a SIG for Supporting Women in IT and Mentoring.
